Hey folks. There isn't much to report on our end. We've just been hanging out, playing at home and w/ friends......you know, the norm. Drew is becoming more and more defiant as the days go on. I have come to realize this is karma; I'm being stricken back for all of the things I did as a child. And this is only kid #1! I can only imagine how it's going to get worse. Oh well, I still love him b/c he's so friggin' cute! One of those looks and I melt. Yeah, can you hear the discipline in my voice??
We had some warm weather but it seems to have subsided back into the cold winters central Illinois is known for. But Spring is almost here so let's keep our fingers crossed!

Desks and noses

Hey everyone. I just wanted to show you guys our new area for our computer. It's in the kitchen, in a little nook off the table. It fits perfect! For those of you that dont' know, we had a tough time finding the perfect desk to use. We finally found one at Target. Yay! It works great. After searching for about 6 mts, I'm glad we finally found one. And the computer looks great there. Thanks again sam! I was told by Matt to make sure to ask for forgivness for the mess of wires and to say that they are going to be cleaned up soon. There. That's done. This means that yes, you guessed it, we're getting the old office ready for D2! He/she actually will have a room!

The first picture was just too hilarious to not post. Drew has the brush-end off of my BBQ Baster (Go Pampered Chef!) and was holding it in his mouth. I thought it looked like he had this huge carrot nose. Yep--that's my kid!

Hello fellow Americans....

....stand by for news! Quick, before you go on, who said that?? I won't tell you but it does make me wonder--is he still alive?? I miss him. Not many stations around here play that little 15 minute uplifter every day........

So to our news.......

I'm currently writing on this blog on our new computer! Sam (of the Quasmans), along w/ Matt's help, built us a new computer this weekend. Now, I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first but things worked out and here I am, typing away and switching web pages faster than you can blink! I'd like to give a thanks to my old computer; we've been together since 2002 and it was hard to say good bye. But life is so much better now!

While we enjoyed some days of nice weather (see above) it was short-lived and now we're back to barely making it above freezing. But this gives us an excuse to stay indoors and clean up the office for D2 (AKA new baby). wish me luck! Ha ha.

.....Lueddecke! Yep--we had our sono today and held out to not find out the sex. It was actually kind of tough; sitting there with it right in front of us but we made it. Now it's really exciting to think of the surprise. We'll let everyone know in June!

Outside Time!!

We finally got some warm weather! It's currently reading 64d on our thermometer! We're loving it--and Drew is too. Let's just pray it lasts.....

Art Day

I just wanted to post some pics of Drew doing various art projects. His favorite--eating the art. As you can see, I chose to do a chocolate art project b/c he wouldn't stop eating the paint. He could sit and do art all day. He's actually been banned from Play-Doh b/c he wouldn't stop eating it. Now our art includes painting, chocolate, and coloring. It's pretty cute!

Hello everyone! Yes--we're alive! I've just been a total slacker and haven't blogged in months. My greatest apologies.

Let's not dwell on the negative and get everyone updated.....

We had a wonderful holiday season; complete with a trip to Florida to enjoy some warm weather and make us hate Central Illinois snow! (Pics to be posted soon)

For those of you that don't know, we are going to be giving Drew a baby bro or sis in June. Yea! We're thrilled. We decided not to find out the sex of this baby. Hooray for surprises! I'll keep you posted on the pregnancy. So far, everything's great. No sickness or problems. Lucky me!

Drew has officially passed the 18 mo mark--meaning he's now 'A year and a half' or 'almost two'. What's with people talking about their '21 mo old' or their '27 mo old'??? Come on folks--it's a kid, not an antique!

Drew is as mischievous as ever. Yes, he's definitely a Lueddecke, with some Jerome undertones. Or biggest news lately is that we've moved into a big-boy bed! He grew right into his toddler bed and now loves it. He mostly likes holding on to the headboard and jumping up and down. Yep--all boy. He's growing up!

Not much else going on here. I'm still working at the daycare a couple of days a week and Matt's still at Cat. We're thouroughly enjoying the snow here (did you catch the sarcasm there??). I've set myself up for one, if not two, more good snows this season before I'm allowed to pray for warm weather.

Right now our days consist of playing and trying to find ways to keep Drew from getting bored out of his mind in the house. Thank goodness for the gym! I'm teaching a step class so I'll sometimes take him to run around in the gym and burn off some energy.

Okay. My wrists are getting tired so I'm going to post some pics and bid farewell. I'm not going ot promise any new posts b/c I don't want to let you down. Just keep checking ;)
